Workshop venue hire
Hire Studio 30 for workshops, gatherings and more. This type of hire does not include photography lighting, backdrops or equipment.
For all hires you will need to have and show evidence of your own Public Liability insurance.
What’s included
Use of any/all of the following is included in the hire, alongside unlimited tea, coffee & squash:
- 2 x 6 foot tables
- 1 x 4 foot tables
- 3 x small folding tables
- Chairs – I have a mixed selection including some folding, so please get in touch before booking if you need specifics.
- Large whiteboard & pens
- Dyson vacuum
Hire fees – venue
All time slots are inclusive of set up & tear down/pack away time, and overrunning will be charged for – please arrive and finish promptly!
SHIMMER / 2 hours / £24
SPARKLE / half day (4 hours) / £40
DAZZLE / full day (8 hours) / £65
Please note Studio 30 is up a flight of stairs, and has neighbours, so is not suitable for group dance classes or music practice. Solo dancers with headphones are welcome – I use it for this too!
There are kitchen & toilet facilities on the same floor, and a small reception area with a fridge and kettle.
I will usually be in my office during hires, but there is a second desk available by arrangement if you need it.

Studio 30 is up a flight of stairs. There is free parking on site.
Facilities info
The studio has a kettle and a small fridge. Tea, coffee and bottles of water are included in your hire fee.
There is a kitchen on the same floor with a bigger fridge and a sink and microwave.
There are also toilets on the same floor.
How many people will it hold for a workshop?
At tables, six to eight for note taking, four to six for workshops which involve making things.
Six to eight would fit on floor cushions for a circle, too, but you’d need to bring your own cushions 🙂
Are there any restrictions on what I can use it for?
Yes, there are some restrictions. If you let me know on the booking request what you’re planning to use the studio for during your hire session, I’ll let you know before confirming if there are any issues. Please be honest – if you turn up and are hosting something I don’t allow hire for or which isn’t covered by insurance, you will be asked to leave.
I am always present in my office next door for the duration of the hire for insurance reasons so if you have any pets / dramatic kit / odd things please let me know in advance – I’d much rather not have to chuck you out on the day!
